Intramurals
Intramural softball is coming up for seniors early next week, according to director Mr. Miley Hotchkiss.

In the Senior Class, out of 11 teams in volleyball, Mark Sorenson's team was able to come out on top. This team, Coach Kearns' eighth period class, easily beat Ron Hopkin's team, 15-11, in the championship match.

The seniors on the winning team were Stover, Kennett, Dettmer, Goodrich, Tantone, Conway, and the captain, Sorenson.

In the Junior Class Coach Jorndt's eighth period class earned the class championship by defeating Coach Olson's third period class. The winning team, with captain Bill Franzen, whipped its opponents, headed by Don Lucas 15-3 and 15-5.

The players in Franzen's squad were Hofman, Kennett, Moehling, Sperling, and Malloy.
 The sophomore champs were Coach Kennedy's first, headed by Ken Mach after over powering Kearn's eighth, led by Gigante. In the best two out of three matches, Mach's team won twice 15-11. The members of the winning team were Mach, Logisz, Van Buren, Tyler, and Bergman.

GAA

Spring intramurals are in full swing with softball every Tuesday and Thursday in C-wing gym. So far 10 teams have been formed and sponsor Miss Bertha Adolf is working to set up a tournament.

Golf meets Mondays and Wednesdays with Miss Corrine Clark, sponsor. Duffers are practicing to play at Lake Park.
