	Music Awards Banquet To Select Top Senior Students
"All graduating seniors from the Music Department are invited to the music department annual awards banquet, the Music Boosters Banquet on May 20th," mentioned Mr. Robert Kuite, Music Department chairman. The Music Boosters Banquet is held in conjunction with the Des Plaines Kiwanis Club, which sponsors many of the awards presented at this affair. Top students in the music department will be selected from the Senior Class, and awards will be presented to senior students who are outstanding in the music department. All seniors will be given a gold pin for their participation in music for four years.		"In addition, initiations to the Modern Music Masters, Tri-M, will be given to the students who have had an "A" in music and are on the academic honor roll," Mr. Kuite added. The students who are to be initiated into Tri-M are as follows: Julie Balderama, John Balma, John Bentley, Delores Berndt, Bob Bruehl, Gail Frey, Tom Graefe, Rebecca Henrich, Debbie Hower, Norm Hudson, Sue KaIb, Jacque LaSalle, Steve Lilja,. Pat Mashburn, Linda Pinzke, Debbie Quinn, Carolyn Ralph, Carolyn Rohrbach, Barb Shell, Dick Schellin, Vickie Shine, Kathy Sinton, Joyce Sorensen, Cheryl Swanson, and Mary Wright.
