Pegasus Club Riding High

Tonight, May 14th, the Pegasus Club of Maine West is presenting a horse show at Idle Hour Stables, 8600 Higgins Road. The show will start at 7:30 p.m. and last until about 10:30 p.m.

The twenty participants will be riding in six classes. They are advanced equitation, intermediate equitation, advanced pairs, intermediate pairs games, and costumes. Featured for the first time will be a polo exhibition.

Anyone may attend this affair. The price is 50 cents for adults, and 35 cents for children under 13. The audience will watch these Maine West students perform; and at the end of the performances, trophies and ribbons will be given to the best riders.
Jeffe Ford, instructor for the girls at Idle Hour, and Mr. Fleming, owner of the stables, will be on hand. Mr. Virn McElwain, advisor, will be there, too.

Committee heads for the show are as follows: Pat Gass '65, general chairman; Diane Kovacs '65, publicity, Mona Roegner '65, trophies and ribbons; Pat Peterson '65, decorations; and Diana Waldier '66, programs.

The girls also would like to give special thanks to Mr. Walter Klaus for donating the programs.
