| For the first time in the history of the school, Maine West will have an intramural track meet. The meet, which parallels the interscholastic meets, will be held tonight at 3:30. There will be competition in the 50-yard dash, low hurdles, 1-lap run, 3-lap run, 3-lap relay, broad jump, high jump, and shot put. Participants will be divided by class and may enter only three events. | According to Coach Hotchkiss, Intramural program director, "This program will provide the participants with a chance to try the skill they have developed in track and field during their physical education classes. We would like to invite all students to come and watch the meet. I expect some record setting performances." There are, as yet, no records for intramural track and field at Maine West. |
