Twelve Beauties Chosen For New Pom Pom Squad
After a full week of hard work, 12 new pom pom girls were chosen last May 14th. Congratulations are in order to Karen Gabbert '66, Karen Heist '66, Cindy Kaechel '66, Pat Mollenkamp '66, captain; Fran Urban '66, Charlotte Freeman '67, Jan Grubert '67, Linda Lehman '67, Katie Levan '67, Sheila Quinn '67, Jill Schlanbush '67, and Linda Larson '68.

On May 10th and 11th a clinic was held for all girls interested to learn the pep song routine. Wednesday the preliminary try-outs were held. Then on Thursday, the 33 finalists learned a new 		routine. Friday the girls performed on last time before the 12 girls were chosen.

Judges for the finals were Mr. Alfred Cochrane, Mr. Sidney Drain, Miss Dorothy Solheim Miss Lynett Solomon, John Bleharski '65, Sandy Bouda '65, Diana De Franco '65, and Frank Tantone '65.

The finalists were judged on the basis of school representation, poise, personality, pep, and co-ordination.
