Golf Team Places 6th |

| The Maine West "stickmen" finished the 1965 golf season on May 27th with their conference meet at the Prospect CC. The golfers placed sixth in this meet with a 350 stroke total, which was far behind first place Prospect who had 322. The "stickmen" finally ended up with a 2-5 Conference record, good enough |
to earn them a sixth place finish in the conference standings, just one point behind Glenbrook North. Clyde Rowells was by far the best golfer on the varsity squad this season, finishing with a 80.4 strokes per round average. |
