Golf Team Places 6th

The Maine West "stickmen" finished the 1965 golf season on May 27th with their conference meet at the Prospect CC. The golfers placed sixth in this meet with a 350 stroke total, which was far behind first place Prospect who had 322.

The "stickmen" finally ended up with a 2-5 Conference record, good enough
to earn them a sixth place finish in the conference standings, just one point behind Glenbrook North.

Clyde Rowells was by far the best golfer on the varsity squad this season, finishing with a 80.4 strokes per round average.
