"Time Out For Ginger is a delightful comedy in three acts, perfect for a high school production," commented Mr. Garth Boyer, director. Ginger Carol, a teenage girl who believes she's as good as any boy, decides to join the football team. Her two sisters, Jeannie, the actress, and Joan, the mighty senior, are completely against her desire for equality. Ginger's father agrees with her ideas and, in fact, enjoys watching her practice out on the field. The boy in Ginger's life, Tommie Greene, walks out on her when he realizes what she has done. When Ginger decides to join the football team, her dad's boss holds him directly responsible. Besides these problems, there's Eddie, Joan's boyfriend, who is forever bragging about himself and taunting Ginger for her crazy ideas. Ah-hah! the plot thickens! But what happens from here? Come to the play and find out! |
