| Bruce Jacobsen, a blonde, blue-eyed senior, is this year's Student Council treasurer. Bruce has received honors in history and science, was a Junior city official, lettered in swimming, and is now Student Council treasurer. His outside activities include a youth group at church, the swimming team, and M-Club. His most embarrassing moment was when he was swimming last year in the District swimming tournament preliminaries. He had reached the end of the pool; and not watching where he was going, he hit his head against the side and sank. Bruce's favorite subject is chemistry. He is looking forward to graduation and after that going on to college, preferably Bradley University. His favorite form of recreation is an enjoyable date or just lounging around the house doing nothing. He also enjoys eating ice cream and lobster tail. |
His most thrilling experience was when he went down to Peoria to watch the varsity baseball team which placed first in the Illinois State Baseball Tournament in 1963. Bruce's best year in school so far was his junior year. He says he had the most fun and also got decent grades which was considerably surprising. He also realized last year that you are depended on more than you think, and if you would realize this, it would help everyone. Bruce's favorite state is California. Although he has never been there, he says it has an awful lot to offer. He was born in Chicago. Bruce thinks Maine is a good school. "The kids dress decent on the most part, but there are always a few who like to create their own styles." On going steady, Bruce enjoyed it, but he agrees it's up to the individual. Talking to various persons around the school, they all agree he is very shy, cunning, and convincing. |
