The LEGEND, Maine West's yearbook, has been on sale all this week in the cafeteria during lunch periods. The full amount of $3.50 may be paid now or $1.50 now and $2 in the spring. Purchase yours now, because they will not be available in the spring.

Donna Batdorf, '65, editor-inchief, is planning to change the entire interior arrangement of the yearbook. It will also be larger than last year's. Legends will be received in late May or early June. Mr. Walker, sponsor of the Legend, said they expect to sell 2,000 yearbooks this year.

A photographer will be at school sometime this month for those seniors who have not had their pictures taken. The exact date will be announced in the daily bulletin.
Maine West's football field will be the scene for another all-pep rally Tuesday, October 13th at 1:35 p.m. This rally will be to generate school spirit for Homecoming The Pom Squad and Cheerleaders will be on hand with some cheers. Music will be supplied by the band, and Homecoming queen candidates will be announced and voted on ..............

The Student Council representatives of the Class of '68 were announced this week. They are David Abbott, Barb Basner, Nancy Bouda, Bill Caddy, John Carl, Barb Dormeyer, George Eck, Carol Hway, Randee Jackson, Glen Liss, Tim McCartney, Terry Neport, Diana Quin, Ellen Sangster, Frank West, Bonnie Witzl, and Bill Zografos.

Maine Township High School West students have been invited to attend a Health Careers Conference at 9:30 am. Saturday, Oct. 31st. The conference is being sponsored by area hospitals and will be held at Maine Township High School East, Potter Rd. and Dempster St., Park Ridge.
