V-Show Try-outs Coming Soon

| Act tryouts for "Stage West '65," this year's V-Show, will be held during the first week of November. The show will be presented Feb. 4th, 5th, and 6th, so acts must begin rehearsing as soon as possible. If you have an act, sign up on the V-Show bulletin board near the main entrance of the school, and get a sign-up sheet from your Student Council representative. The theme of V-Show is "Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow." Acts are asked to try to keep within the theme, which could deal with happenings in history, situations of today, and events that may take place in the future. Out of the 80 acts which are hoped will try out, approximately 30 will be chosen on the basis of originality and adaptability. The actual number of acts chosen will depend on their length. Monday, the 26th, and Tuesday, the 27th. Actual tryouts will be Wednesday, the 28th. The director of V-Show is Kathy Owen '65. Coordinator is Linda Petkus '65. Music director is Bob Cizek '65. Choreographer is Connie Lambrecht '66, assisted by Donna Hostetler '66, Ethel Koehler '65, Sue Nehring '67, and Fran Urban '66. Art directors are Randy Black '66, and Cheri Mercer 66. Costume designers are Gail Horn '65, Pat LaSalle '65, and Jane Wolski '65. Publicity is headed by Lynn Johnson '65, and Betty Riska '66. Carole Engh '65, is head of Usherettes. Acts as well as people for the dance chorus are needed for the 1965 production of V-Show, "If you want to be in V-Show, sign up as soon as possible," forewarns Kathy. |
