Autumn cools warm winds |
||||||||||
| By Phyllis Naegele Autumn is known as a season of colors all over the world; vivid reds and decaying yellows. It's a very lazy time with cool breezes after a long hot summer. Many students' minds usually wander off thinking about a cool lake with lots of fish or maybe a forest with its exploding colors; while they ,should be thinking about a new physics problem or whether or not a word in English is a noun or a whatever you want to call it. Although some people may think it's pretty drab around here, it isn't. Helping add to the excitement and fun of autumn are the sports events which include the world series, football, and the Olympics. |
Autumn has been designated as "Injun Summer' by John T. McCutcheon who drew an imaginative classic cartoon on this idea. It shows how an autumn evening can stir up the imagination in many people It also points out that autumn is a time for dreaming. In the dictionary you'll find autumn defined as: "the third season of the year-fall." There is a deeper meaning to autumn. Autumn is the beginning of the end of a life cycle-a cycle that controls the earth and everything on it. Autumn is truly a wonderful and amazing time of the year. It is a time in which everyone can learn to appreciate the wonderful things about him. |
