Music Masters Attend Festival
The Maine West Music Department selected 19 students to participate in the Illinois Music Educators Association's annual music festival at Wheaton College on Saturday, Nov. 21st.

A combined chorus, orchestra, and band made up of selected students from some 40 high schools in District 1 will participate in this event. A rehearsal will take place Saturday morning, and a performance of five numbers will take place on Saturday afternoon.

The seven chorus members selected were Don Cameron '65, Donna Carison '65, Kenn Hempel '65, Dave Humphreys '65, Laura Nelson '66, Carolyn Rhorbach '66, and Linda Waters '66.
 The seven orchestra members selected were Carol Copeland '65, Rebecca Henrich '65, John Koumoungis '65, Tom Larson '65, LaDonna Miller '65, Roberta Wells '6, and Margie Wille '65.

The five band members chosen to go were Bob Cizek '65, Richard Hudson '66, Jeff Lossau '65, Al Ripperger '65, and Dennis Young '66.

These students were selected from applications sent in with ratings given by the music teachers.
