Curtain closes on class play |

| by Markne Lorenz As the curtain closed on the last act of the Senior Class Play, the entire cast knew it had accomplished its aim to make "Time Out For Ginger" a big hit. Despite the inexperience of most of the cast members, their smooth teamwork and unpretentious spark made the theatrical production a great success. Ronald Alexander wanted his play to be comical and without a rehearsed air about it. The cast has executed his beliefs and produced his play with freshness and spontaneity. The main lead, Ginger, was played by Dawn Piotter and Mary Leonard. In real life each has a great sense of humor which added to their parts. |
Agnes Carol, played by Christina Sparrow and Roberta Wells, and Howard Carol played by Dave Humphreys, performed superbly as the parents of Jeannie (Gail Horn and Debbie Quinn) and Joan (Kathy Williams and Peg Callaghan). Lizzie the maid, a replica of Hazel, was played by Pat Gass and Valerie Dawson. Kent Krautstrunk and Jordan Minerva performed the part of the big letterman, Eddie Davis. Tommy Green (Patrick La Salle and Jim Brondy) was the boyfriend of Ginger who tried to discourage her athletic aims. Mr. Wilson (Bob Sherwin and Bill Strand) and Ed Hoffman (Richard Cornelius and Kenn Hempel) both personified their parts. |
