| The annual intramural double elimination basketball tournaments for 1964-65 started this week with each class being well represented in the competition. Charley Shriver defeated a field of six other seniors to win the Senior Class intramural table-tennis championship last week. Final results from the other class tournaments will be announced in the next issue. Girls' Bowling Team The Maine West Girls' Bowling League consists of 36 girls. Thursday at Sim's Bowl. The sponsor is Miss Ruth Smith, business education teacher. |
Patti Lusk, Ellen Johnson, and Diane Hollstein make up the first place team who have a 4-game lead over the GTOs. High scratch series are Lee Winski (534), Mary Pepmiller (514), and Judi Schimka (500). High scratch games are Barb Colberg (219), Mary Pepmiller (212), and Judi Schimka (205). A few openings are still left for any girls interested. The first place team is the Wha Cha Ma Call Its II, second place the GTOs, and third place the Bowling Stones. |
