Tell the world |
||||||||
| By Peggy Pepmiller What is it I see, up in the sky? 'Tis the light of heaven shining." And those voices and songs of alleluyia? "Are the angels; they're joyous on this night." Joyous? For what? "A gift has come." A gift of gold or elegant jewels? "Far greater than those - a child, My Son!" Where is He? I wish to see Him. "Come. Follow this star." Where does it lead? "Come. The town is not far." Look! The star has stopped. "Yes. We're near." But this is only a stable. "Yes, but He is here." O light! 0 Child! Your face brings joy within me. My heart is glad. I want to shout, to sing. I want bells to ring and tell the world of this great thing! "Be joyous and tell the world!" |
