Musclemen Face Rival Tonight

The Warrior gymnasts meet the Prospect Knights tomorrow afternoon in a meet which could decide the Mid Suburban League gymnastic crown. The Warriors are tied with Prospect for the lead with identical 3-1 records.

On Jan. 21st, the Warriors were defeated by Glenbard West 671/2 - 641/2. Maine won on the trampoline, parallel bars, and tied on the rings. They lost all other events.

Three days later, the same team whipped GB South 78-54. On the trampoline Maine won 13-9 with Mike Keller grabbing first place and Larry Janssens second. On the side horse Maine won, 12-10, with Bill Bach capturing first place. The Warriors took the high bar event 16-6. Nerius was first, Braun second, and Bluhm third. Maine was victorious on the parallel bars 141/2 - 71/2 with John Kennett in first, and Dale Alles second. The tumblers won 13-9 with Keller and Mandel taking first and second, respectively. On the rings, the Warriors lost 121/2 - 91/2.
Wheaton beat the musclemen 74-58 last Friday. The Warriors won only one event, the trampoline. The only Mainites to capture first were Mike Keller and Bill Bach.

Coach Drain's musclemen beat Waukegan, 681/2 - 631/2 in their last performance. They lost on the trampoline 8-14 and tied on the side horse, 11-11, with Bill Bach taking first place. The Warriors won 14-8 on the high bar, and Braun took first with Nerius second. Maine won, 151/2 - 61/2, on the parallel bars with John Kennett taking first place. The rings also had
