Homecoming will soon be here with all its festivities and excitement. One of the highlights of Homecoming is the dance, over which the Homecoming Queen presides. The Senior Class Council promises to present a dance to remember. Students gathering in the cafeteria on the evening of October 9 will dance to music of a well known band and enjoy refreshments.

The Homecoming Dance will last from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. Tickets are $2 per couple. The dance committee is headed by Dennis Doyle '66. Pat Silk '66 is refreshment chairman, Barb Nixon '66, decoration chairman, Donna Hostetler '66, publicity chairman, and Sue Olson '66, ticket chairman. Miss Rosalie Streng and Mr. Richard Frey are the class sponsors.

Committee members and sponsors have been working diligently and hope for a large turn‑out. This is one of Maine West's earliest Homecomings and promises to be the best.
