"Once Upon a Victory" was the theme of this year's annual Kick‑Off Dance. The dance, sponsored by Pep Club, was held last Saturday from 8 to 11 p.m. in the Maine West cafeteria.

Under the guidance of Sherry Catardi '67, every member of Pep Council worked to make the decorations effective. Upon entering the fairytale room, it was necessary to cross a drawbridge. Once

inside, stars, with football players' names,dangling from the ceiling were plainly visible. Around the center was a castle with Humpty Dumpty sitting on top of the surrounding wall. To complete the fantasy land effect were storybook characters on the windows around the cafeteria.

The Mainites danced to music provided by the Checkmates.
