"Say, I was wondering if you could tell me where A‑214 is?"
"Hold it! Say no more. You're a freshman, right?"
"Darn it! How could you tell?''
"It's written all over your nervous, angelic face."
"Oh. Now, as I was saying."
"Hey, since you're a freshman, let me ask you this‑what are you doing October 9?"
"I don't know. Why? What have you got in mind?"
"Don't act like a frosh! October 9 is Homecoming!"
"Homecoming?"

"Oh, brother! You know, we pick a Homecoming Queen there are floats and a parade through town. Then the game against Palatine at 2 p.m., and the whole thing is topped off when the queen is crowned at the Homecoming dance that night."
"Oh, yeah. Tell me more."
"Okay. About a week before the game, everybody gets together to build floats. Each class has a separate float, and a lot of clubs build them, too. Then, at the game, the floats are judged to see whose float is the best. It's a lot of fun, and it really makes you feel good to know that you helped your class build its float."
"Okay, okay. I'll help build the freshman float, I'll campaign for the Homecoming candidate of my choice, and I'll yell my lungs out at the game so I can show my loyalty to the Warriors. Now, will you please tell me where A‑214 is?"
"I can't! You see, I'm a frosh, too, and I can't find it either!"
