Intramurals Select Sports

The Intramural sports department, headed by Mr. Miley Hotchkiss, has selected nearly every sport imaginable for this year. Any interested boy can compete with students from his respective class, with the exception of those out for a sport already.

A schedule of all Intramural activities is posted in the gyms and in the boys' locker room next to the swimming pool. An emblem is presented to each boy winning a class championship and all students who have participated in over one half of the games on his team will receive an emblem. A trophy will be given to the highest scoring individual in each class, while a medal is received for the second best scorer.

On Mondays, the seniors will play badminton; later, the other classes will play also. Next is cross country which will begin on the week of October 18th. With the exception of October 27, every Wednesday until November 3 there will be a free swim for all boys immediately after school. These are all the fall sports for the Intramural department. Offered during the course of the winter are table tennis, basketball, free throw, and wrestling. The spring season will offer weight‑lifting, water basketball, volleyball, softball, track, and free swims every Tuesday and Thursday from March 1 through June 2.
