Runners Welcome Returning Lettermen

Under the direction of head coach Mr. Bill Barringer this year's cross‑country team will try to repeat as conference champs. Last year's team had about 12 outstanding runners. This year three of those star 12 runners are back ‑ Kevin Flurkey '66, Ed Lusk '67, and Lee LaBadie '68.

Besides these three returning lettermen there are Bob Zografos '66, Bill Franzen '66, Barry Johnson '66, and Bob Schraw '66.

Returning letterman Ed Lusk was asked what he thought of the team's chances for the conference championship this year. He commented by saying "that with hard work and determination we could repeat as champs."

Other runners that will be counted on will be Doug Chase '67, who was last year's most valuable runner on the frosh‑soph team, also John Stone '67, Ed Challberg '66, Harry Chiles '67 and Jim Braun '67.
