The new members of the National Honor Society will be initiated into the organization by the faculty and present members at a tea in the cafeteria on March 16.

All students elected to the society must meet certain qualifications of leadership and service. A senior must have no grade lower than a B in a solid credit course used in computing class rank. Four full credit courses each year must also have been taken by both juniors and seniors to qualify.

"The National Honor Society recognizes excellence in scholarship and character and considers also the student's contributions to the school in service and leadership," stated Miss Anne Lauterbach, faculty sponsor of the society.

New senior members are Janet Arnswald, Elaine Bacos, Colin Baenziger, Sharon Bales, Randolph Black, Janis Blume, Paul Bourgeois, Edward Challberg, Gregory Clark, Lorene Coffman, Robert Dettner, Dennis Doyle, Matthew Erschen, Linda Fick, William Franzen, Ellen Geiger, Pamela Giorno, Nancy Glander, Norman Glitz, Anthony Gyssler, Karen Heist, Thomas Holtz, William Ingles, Arland Johannes, and Kathy Kassnel.

Also included are Donald Knauss, Linda Koltz, Martin Kovar, Thomas Langdon, Burton Lucas, Bruce MacDonald, Kenneth Malten, Gary Mason, James Mathieson, Linda McCoy, Robert McGee, John McNurney, James Meyer, Kenneth Mueller, John Nantz, Erik Nygaard, Nancy Olig, Sue Olson, Dennis Owen, Clifton Owens, Priscillia Penninga, Jeffrey Pick, and Donna Prenner.
