In Council

With the Student Council Elections coming so soon it is time to remind all of the students of its, importance. This week, which is both hectic and fun, is probably one of the most important weeks in the school year. The student body is electing the main‑stay and his cohort to office. We could overemphasize and say that the life of your Student Council is at stake.

In all seriousness, though, your vote cast this week is important. We are now finishing up AFS Week; we had Homecoming, Dial‑Tone ‑ so many successful Student Council projects! The president and the secretary have to lead and organize all of these activities.

Seniors should think of the legacy they will leave their school; for juniors, their last year in school should be a success; sophomores and freshmen should get experience in campaigning and electing responsible leaders.

Actively support the candidate of your choice! Get out and vote for your Student Council officers.
