'Sea Mystique' Debuts in May

"Sea Mystique" will be the theme of the Junior Prom this year. The big day for the Class of '67 will be May 21 and the Prom will start, tentatively, at 8:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. Refreshments will be served in the social room all evening.

Heading the committees working to make the dance a success is Diane Fehrenbacher '67, Prom chairman. In charge of decorations is Mary Holm '67; bids and invitations, Ruth Christian '67; publicity, Arlette Dawson '67; refreshments, Phyllis Ebert '67; and entertainment, Jane Blonston '67.

"Invitations for the Prom are being sent to all juniors this year," revealed Diane. Bids have already been ordered, and music will be provided by the Jim Bestman orchestra.

Because the theme is relative to an underwater scene, the decorations will be done in deep sea shades of turquoise, green, and silver. The cafeteria and social room will be decorated with fish nets and collections of fish and sea shells. Diane also noted, "We hope to have a sunken treasure in the middle of the cafeteria with souvenirs for everyone to take."

Finally, Diane urged, "All juniors should come!"
