Seniors Change Prom Locale

Because of the lack of funds in the Senior Class treasury, it has been necessary to change the site of the prom from Henrici's to the Motel Lifeless.

This change in location has also meant a switch in some of the activities. The girls should still plan on wearing formals and the boys on wearing tuxedos, but combat boots might be more appropriate since the dance floor is a little rough and drafty. Also, if possible, couples should try to go together since parking may be a problem.

The buffet supper will be served on the spacious lawns of the motel, so it might be advisable to bring 6‑12 insect repellant or mosquito netting. The menu for the supper has been changed slightly because of a shortage of funds, but there should be something to please everyone. The main course is a choice between corned beef hash and corn meal mush; for dessert there will be Girl Scout cookies.

Since every band that was asked to play refused, the entertainment committee is asking that everyone bring their records for dancing.

It is hoped that all Seniors will attend the fabulous closing event of their high school career, so they can say they attended the best prom in the history of Maine.
