Late last Tuesday night, March 29, an unidentified flying object was spotted in the student parking lot at Maine West.  Jon Nearsight, a senior at Maine, reported, “I first caught a glimpse of an extremely large object flying down Oakton Street at about 11:45 p.m.

“Our principal was at the scene of the crime along with top city officials.  They immediately called the police and the F.B.I.  Approximately at midnight Sergeant Grassnoggle arrived and arranged a party to capture the object

which was by then rolling around on the football field.  Unfortunately the field didn’t have lights; but on the brighter side, the object was luminous orange.  As the men approached the six-foot-long object, it bounded out of the field and back into the parking lot.

“Firemen came with rope and tried to lasso the object and tie it to a tree. They were successful.  Carefully and cautiously they walked up to the object and guess what it was?  Would you believe Casper the Ghost, or Batman? Guess again!”
