The annual College Sorority Information Party will be held Sunday, April 24, at 2 p.m. in the Maine West cafeteria.
Mrs. Burton S. Pearsall, nationally known sorority woman, in her tenth appearance before area seniors, will talk on sororities and campus life. The questions she will answer are "What is rushing? What does sorority membership mean? What does a sorority offer you?"
In addition to Mrs. Pearsall as guest speaker, there will be a display of sorority pins and sorority publications.
The party will be sponsored by the Chicago Northwest Suburban Area Panhellenic Association. All college-bound senior girls from Maine West and surrounding area high schools together with their mothers will receive invitations by mail. A booklet for future reference called "Speaking of Sororities" will be included with the invitation. Girls and their

mothers are invited to read the booklet and bring any questions to the party. Here they will have an opportunity to meet alumnae from many different colleges and ask about campus life, clothes, and expenses.
Mrs. Russell Oller, of Des Plaines, is in charge of the event and invites the girls to use the reply telephone number on their invitations for their area. Should any girls interested in the party who have not received invitations wish to attend Mrs. Oller requests that they call her at 827‑6309 for information and reservations.
A card requesting information about school activities and scholarship standing will be available at the party. All girls attending are urged to fill out the card and return it at the party. In this way the Panhellenic file will be complete for the Northwest Suburban Area and available to sorority alumnae wishing to recommend girls to their collegiate chapters for next year.
