Girls To Offer Dessert May 10

Many senior girls and their mothers will be attending the annual Senior Mother‑Daughter Dessert on Tuesday night, May 10. The dessert will be held in the cafeteria from 7:30 until 9:30. Heels and dresses will be worn. Tickets are $1.50 for each couple. The dessert will be sponsored by the Girls' Club.

While refreshments are being served, a program will be presented. The acts will be the Burgundy Trio singing folk songs, Harriet Hall doing a humorous skit, Mark Burchard singing a solo, and Robin Swain playing the piano. Kris Nielsen, president of Girls' Club, will act as mistress‑of‑ceremonies.

Miss Linda Jenewein, sponsor of Girls' Club, stated, "The dessert, which is held to show the girls' appreciation for their mothers, turned out very well last year. In fact, we almost had more people than we could handle."

Officers of the club are Kris Nielsen, president; Sue Anderson, vice‑president; and Donna Lindfors, treasurer.
