Juniors To Hold, Prom

"Sea Mystique," this year's Junior Prom with an underwater theme, will be held tomorrow evening in the Maine West cafeteria from 8:30 to 11:30. Invitations do not have to be presented at the door, but one member of each couple must show an identification card.

The decorations committee is working under the leadership of Mary Holm. These people and any other interested students should plan on coming today after school and tomorrow morning at 8 to help prepare the school for the dance.

Diane Fehrenbacher, chairman of the Junior Prom, stated, "It is very important that no one take these decorations with

them as souvenirs after the prom. Since most of them are rented, we certainly won't have enough money for a Senior Prom if we have to pay for this year's decorations." She went on to say, 'The success of the Junior Prom now rests on those people who come to decorate."

The important prom committees are publicity, with Arlette Dawson in charge; invitations and bids, headed by Ruth Christian; entertainment, under the leadership of Jan Blonston; and refreshments, with Phyllis Ebert in charge.

Providing the music for this affair will be the Jim Bestman Orchestra. Punch and cookies are to be served as refreshments.
