The new varsity and junior-varsity cheerleaders for next year were chosen during the last week. The girls were selected by a panel of judges who rated them on pep, voice, jumps, stunts, cheer personality, motions, partner harmony, personal reaction of judge, and ability.

The new varsity cheerleaders will cheer at all varsity games starting next year. Those selected were Dolores Webster '66, captain; Jan Erickson '67, co-captain; Mary Steele '67; Linda Peterson '68; Joan Beyer '68; Nancy Gunn '67; and alternates, Patti Radlein '67 and Jackie Silk '68.

The new junior‑varsity is composed of Corliss Belzer '69, Janie Leis '69, Patti Falconer '68, Pat Cordts '69, Linda Wesolowski '69, and Janice Bobernac '69. The captain will be chosen during the coming week and alternates will be chosen next year. Junior‑varsity cheerleaders cheer at all J‑V sports events.
