Strike 3! Batter Up!

These words are familiar to all fans of the baseball world, but they are also everyday language to the girls participating in the GAA softball tournament. These games are being played during the month of May and include 11 teams. The final tournament will be played late in May and the champions will challenge the faculty. The captains of the teams are Chris Doell '67, Gail Branda '68, Valerie Mensching '69, Marie Marrese '68, Cheryl Johnson '68, Ruth Christian '67, Linda Weslowski '69, Carolyn Hummel '69, Barb Gray '68, Karen Stec '69, Shari Kohl '66.

On Wednesday, May 11, voting for the officers of GAA took place. The results are president, Lynda Pagel '67; vice-president, Bonnie Junius '67; secretary‑treasurer, Diane Clarke '69; intramural chairman, Renee Gatsis '68; and social chairman, Pat Jacobsen '69.

On May 24 at 7:30 p.m., the new officers will be installed at the GAA Awards Dessert. Also at this time the awards for participation will be awarded. Two members will be winning fourth year state awards. They are Lee Winski '66 and Diane Schettko '66.
