The intramural department awards trophies to two members of each class every year, according to Coach Miley Hotchkiss, intramural sports director. At this point of the year the best competitors are seniors Burt Lucas and John McNurney and juniors Mike Kraft and Jim Luebke. The sophomores are Carl Dudczak and Larry Lovelace while the freshmen are John Plas and Grover Baeke.

Coach Ken Olson's third period senior‑leader gym class defeated Coach Roy Kearn's eighth period senior leaders in intramural softball. The winning score was 11‑7.
