On June 9 the Maine West cafeteria will be host to the seniors and their teachers. Also present at the Senior Dessert will be the counselors and the administration.

"This will be the last social event of the senior class, and I hope everyone will come for the announcement of the senior superlatives," said Sue Olson, secretary of the senior class and in charge of the dessert.

Those attending the Senior Dessert will be served ice cream, cake, and punch by hostesses from the junior class. The affair is being held at 2 p.m.

Linda Waters is committee head for the "senior superlatives" which will be announced by Julie Szabo and Steve Wischweh. Some awards will also be given in connection with the superlatives.

"Entertainment by some of the more talented members of our class," as Sue put it, includes "Bunny and Bear"; vocalizing by Paul Hummel and Bill Grice, members of the Burgundy Trio; a monologue presented by Harriet Hall; and a presentation by "Steve Wischweh and company." Karen Spalla is the entertainment chairman for the event.

The dress is suits or sports coats and ties for the boys and dressy dresses and heels for the girls.
