Is College the Choice for You?

College? Should I go or not? This question perplexes many students, whether they are freshmen or seniors.

There are a group of students in every school who, from the day they enroll until the day they graduate, have their minds made up that they will go to college. These are the people who plan their course schedule for a college bound career. Most of them reach college ‑ some through scholarships, others through their parents, and still others by earning money through part time jobs.

However, not everyone should go to college. Some students are not mentally suited for college. Usually these people do not want to go. But how about the boy who cannot decide between an engineering career dealing with cars, or a job in an office. The experience he can gain working in a garage is more important and essential than anything any college can teach him.

Should you go to college? If you have the interest, the funds, and the brains, you probably should.
