Demoquacy Is Theme of Aquiana Show

MINE EYES HAVE SEEN THE GLORY OF THE COMING OF THE LORD ................

These words are more than part of the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" for they are also symbolic of the theme of this year's Aquiana Swim Show, DEMOQUACY is the club's theme, sponsored by Miss Marsha Hyatt and will take place at the Maine West swimming pool at 8:00 p.m. on November 5 and 6 for the price of $1.

The highlight of the show will be the solos of Judy Hasse, '67, and Linda Waters, '66.

Unusual Acts are Great!

The most unusual acts in the show are great in number, but one of the most outstanding is the "FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION" which symbolizes the laying of the first trans‑Atlantic telegraph cable.

Those in this act are Carol Carstens, '68, Peg Scheuneman, '68, Kathy Scheuneman, '66, Linda Markowski, '66, and Sandy Stamp, '66. Another unusual act will be the "INAUGURATION BALL" featuring boys swimming with girls. In this act are Chris Armbruster, '68, Jan Blume, '66, Pam Bol, '66, Jo Anne Nelson, '67, and Margie Fritz, '67. The boys are Tom Wencil, '67, Ron Wallace, '66, Doug Newman, '66, Bill Van Buren, '67, and Bob McGee, '66. Duets and Trios are Highlights.

There will be three duets:

"THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR" with Terri Sassmann and Linda Wells; "THE F.B.I." with Linda Greenaway, '66, and Doug Newman, '66; and "SENIOR CITIZENS" with Pat Campbell, '68, and Marcey Richey, '67.

The two trios are "THE TREASURY DEPARTMENT" with Chris Peterson, '68, Jeanne Malmberg, '68, and Kathy Kassnel, '66; and "THE WEATHER BUREAU" with Beth French, '68, Jane Rische, '67, and Peg Michelson, '67.

Political Parties Represented

The next two acts represent America's two major political parties. They are "DEMOCRATE" with Sue Buthman, '67, Cindy Hanson, '67, Billy Mason, '67, Judy Osterman, '67, and Barb Thode, '66; and the "REPUBLICANS" with Vicki Anderson, '68, Barb Leonard, '68, Barb Thode, '66, and Judy Osterman, '67.

Various departments in the government are shown in the acts the "U.S. BUREAU OF NATURAL RESOURCES" with Marcia Moulten, '68, Kathy Malten, '68, Peg Scheuneman, '68, and Peg Michelson, '67; "THE PATENT OFFICE" with Bonnie Nelson, '67, Lori Gordon, '67, Cheri Scheuler, '68, Linda Pinzke, '67, and Nancy Meyer, '67.
