The Key Club presented Maine West with two new flags at the opening of the school year. Last spring the club sent a letter to Senator Dirksen requesting use of the flags. Both 7x5 foot specimens were flown over the Capitol building before they were sent here.

Key Club, which is sponsored by Mr. Eldon Burk science teacher, is a high school division of Kiwanis and has

members in all four classes. Mr. Burk states, "We are always open to all boys who are interested in serving the school and community."

This year the club plans to continue their service of cleaning faculty windshields during bad weather. They will also undertake the distribution of the paperback books they collected last year.
