The G.A.A. calendar is brimming with activities for all girls. On Tuesday, Oct. 26, several members saw the ladies' hockey team from the British Isles play the North Shore Field Hockey Club of which Miss Mae Jean Engen and Miss Barbara Bovenmyer are members. Last weekend 19 girls went to the Chain of Lakes State Park for camping, canoeing and a whiff of the rugged outdoor life. The Girls' Maine West Tennis Team has been active this year and as a result of good playing is now

tied for 2nd in Conference. Although they have lost to Oak Park, Niles West and Maine South, the scores were close and the Maine gals are still ranked with the best teams.

The sports for the new quarter will start for G.A.A. members the week of Nov. 8. These sports include gymnastics, to be held on Mondays and Tuesdays after school, and volleyball, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
