CEEB Tests (College Entrance Examination Board Tests) are coming up soon. These tests are for seniors planning to enter college. The tests consist of two sections‑Scholastic Aptitude Tests (SAT), which are 90 minute tests in math and English, and the Achievement Tests, which cover approximately 20 areas from which the student chooses three, each being one‑hour long. Possible scores for the tests are from 200 to 800 points on each area of the test. These tests are required by virtually all colleges across the United States. |
There is also a Pre‑Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) for juniors, which is a sample or warm‑up preparing them for what to expect when they take the senior CEEB Tests. They are taken during the fall and are divided into two parts, English and math. |
