Five seniors and one junior were named to the All‑Conference football team from the Maine West Warriors. Seniors picked to All‑Conference team were Steve Ryden, Jim Kautz, Tom Hansch, Paul Moehling, and Dick Wells. Junior Craig Rowells was the All‑Conference center from the Warriors. Don Rudd, a senior, was given honorable mention at guard.

Warrior fullback Steve Ryden, along with Forest View's halfback Pat Dunnigan, Palatine's halfback John Ekberg and tackle Jeff Keller, and Prospect's guard Dan Agard were also recommended for the All-State football team.
