VOL. VII, NO. 5
DECEMBER 10, 1965

Hi all!

I noticed some boy's knees showing the other day. Buzz Didier, why don't you try wearing bermuda shorts? It seems that Gayle "Clumsy" McCarthy fell out of a tree, was in an accident, and smashed her hand in a car door all in one day. I wonder what really happened? I missed seeing Mrs. Tucker's tremendous production of Cleopatra. Was it good, Darlene "Cleo" Jackson? Very good Fran Urban . . . all fours I hear. The members of the girls' football team asked me to commend you on your brilliant grading. While I ask Sue Anderson for a little judo demonstration, I'm wondering if Kim Mercer knows how George Washington is. A quick "get well" goes to Chris Birchfield who is at home in bed with pneumonia . . . hurry back Chris!!

What's this I hear about a barnacle being on a "birthday bus"? Maybe you can tell me, Devra Bredar? I wonder who has seen John Szaltis running down "C" wing into the cafeteria? Were you really that hungry for carrots? Speaking about the cafeteria, Connie Stecher is so anxious to get there that she slides down the stair railings! Paul "Mary Poppins" Hummel certainly has had a lot of birthdays lately during 5B lunch that blue umbrella was a special gift. Randy Black says that Bob "Father" Stevensen's rowdy lunch table had better settle down!

Gee, Pete Dellagrazio, how does your car stand up to fire crackers blown off by Phil HeIler? Goodness, was that Joan of Arc that went by? Nope it was just Jackie Means! Say, I wonder if she's trying to get Dave Bixby into my column? Sorry, David, only the best, choice, students get into my column ... right Tony Lentini?

Steve Sherwood was the first Junior Fire Marshall of the sixth period chem class. He gave up his badge to John Wrenn (who wouldn't give it back for a week, and now Laura Nelson is the latest Junior Fire Marshall. Cathy Young and Rick Poulous would you teach me how to play office the way you do? Dolores "Dodie" Gough and I sadly waved good‑bye to our good sailor buddy! Save your tears, Dodie, he'll be back soon and so will I, fans!!

So long for now,
Morfit and the Phynques
