Intramural basketball for all classes is now in progress and will continue through March, 1966. There are nine senior teams, seven junior teams, eight sophomore ‑ teams, and five freshman teams. Altogether 29 teams will be competing to win the tournament in March.

Each team will have two chances to win in order to keep from being eliminated. They may continue competing with either one or

two wins, but two losses will eliminate them from the tournament.

According to Mr. Miley Hotchkiss, intramural director at Maine West, Gus Herrero and Bill Franzen were the two senior champions in table tennis. Jim Karberg and Jim Mantas were the two top table tennis players of the juniors. The freshman table tennis tournament will be held in the very near future.
