Maine West was defeated last Saturday night by the Glenbrook South Titans in a game in which the Warriors were behind at the end of each quarter. At the end of the first quarter the Warriors were losing by a score of 18 to 5. The score at the half saw the Titans ahead 29 to 18.
During the third quarter the Titans increased their score to 48, while the Warriors brought their score to 24. Glenbrook South displayed both accuracy and speed during the remaining quarter which finalized the game.
The final score was Maine West 41, Glenbrook South 71. Ken Mueller and Al Fritz were the two highest scorers in the game‑with Mueller making 13 and Fritz completing 11 baskets.

Tonight the Warriors will attempt to defeat Forest View on the Forest View home court. Saturday, the Warriors will host Palatine on the Maine East court. Both games are Conference and will begin at 7 p.m.
During the Proviso West Tournament during the Christmas holidays, Maine West was defeated by Oak Park and West Leyden. Ken Mueller '66 was the outstanding scorer in each of these games. He scored 22 baskets against Oak Park and 13 baskets against West Leyden.
Pete Kulik '66 was the second highest scorer with eight baskets. Maine West lost the Oak Park game 70 to 52. The game against West Leyden saw the Warriors defeated by a score of 47 to 39. Al Fritz '67 was the second highest scorer in this game with a total of 11 baskets.
