Students Give For Research

This year the students of Maine West have collected a total of $306 for the March of Dimes. The Brotherhood Society, which sponsored this drive, took up collections in homeroom and in the cafeteria during the week of January 17‑22. The total amount was somewhat more than the expected $300 and the amount collected in '65.

The benefit of the March of Dimes Drive will be used for the care of the children born with birth defects and for the research in the prevention of them.

The students of Maine were very generous in their contributions to this cause. Mr. A. K. H. Cochrane is the sponsor of the Brotherhood Society.
