Tankmen Take Victories In Two
of Three Meets;
To Face GS Here Tonight

The Maine West varsity swim team hosted the Niles North swim team last Friday and was defeated 65‑28. Norm Hudson '67, Dave Klamer '67, Bob McGee '66, and Keith Gyssler '67 combined for a first place in the 200 yard medley relay. Larry Harrison '67 and Rainer Paasch '67 took third and fourth respectively in the 200 yard free style. Davie Eley '67 took a third and Tom Graefe '66 a fourth in the 500 yard free style.

Freshman Chris Olander swam to a second in the 200 yard individual medley. Marc Bonnivier '67 and Fred Strudthoff '67 took first and second respectively in the 100 yard free style. Chris Olander '69 captured a first and Norm Hudson '67 a second in the 100 yard back stroke.

Larry Harrison '67 and Rainer Paasch '67 swam to third and fourth respectively in the 400 yard free style. Dave Klamer '67 took a second and Jeff Pick '66 a fourth in the 100 yard breast stroke. Fred Strudthoff '67, Keith Gyssler '67, Bob McGee '66, and Marc Bonnivier '67 took a second in the 400 yard free style. Greg Gundling '66 placed second in diving.

On January 25 the Maine West varsity tankers hosted the Morton West swim team. Maine West was victorious 74-19. Norm Hudson '67, Dave Klamer '67, Bob McGee '66, and Greg Gundling '66

combined for a first in the 200 yard medley relay. Larry Harrison '67 took a first and Rainer Paasch '67 a second in the 200 yard free style. Keith Gyssler '67 and Davie Eley '67 captured first and second respectively in the 50 yard free style.

Chris Olander '69 took a first and Fred Strudthoff '67 a third in the 200 yard individual medley. Greg Gundling '66 took first in diving. Davie Eley '67 swam to a second in the 100 yard butterfly. Marc Bonnivier '67 and Tom Graefe '66 swam to first and third respectively in the 100 yard free style. Norm Hudson '67 and Bill Van Buren '67 combined efforts and captured first and third respectively in the 100 yard back stroke.

Larry Harrison '67 swam first and Rainer Paasch '67 second in the 400 yard free style. In the 100 yard breast stroke, Dave Kiamer '67 took a first and Ron Wallace '66 a second. Freshman Chris Olander, Keith Gyssler '67, Bob McGee '66, and Marc Bonnivier '67 combined to take a first in the 400 yard free style.

The Prospect swim team invaded the Maine West pool on January 21 and left after being defeated 66‑28.

The Maine West varsity swim team will host the swim team from Glenbrook South at 4:30 today after school.
