Night of Knights
Girls' Choice Dance Spotlights An Evening
of Medieval Pomp

Every girl's knight in shining armor will be seen from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 26, at the annual Girls' Choice Dance. The girls will treat the boys tomorrow evening.

"Night of Knights" is the theme of the dance. In accordance with the theme, there will be medieval decorations‑with streamers and shields decorating the cafeteria.

Debbie Sider '68 states, 'The decorations for this year's Girls' Choice Dance should prove to be interesting."

Jim Bestman and his orchestra, a six piece group, will provide the music for the gay evening.

The dress for the dance will be Sunday best‑that is wool or velveteen dresses and heels for the girls and suits for the boys.

Miss Linda Jenewein, Girls' Club sponsor, remarked, "I hope we have a bigger turnout than last year."

Tickets have been on sale since Monday, February 21, for $2 a couple. No tickets will be sold at the door. Apple cider and doughnut holes will be served.

It has been a tradition for the girls to make a sign or corsage for the boys. Miss Jenewein remarked that it isn't necessary.

The chairmen for the dance are Cheri Kroschel '66, tickets; Sue Anderson '66, decorations; Dolores Gough '66, publicity; and Linda Wilkins '67, refreshments.

The officers of Girls' Club are Kris Nielsen, president; Sue Anderson, vice‑president; Lynn Nielsen, secretary; and Donna Lindfors, treasurer.

Kris Nielsen said, "Girls, now is your chance to get a date for one of the best‑attended dances of the year. Don't pass up this opportunity because it only happens once a year."
