VOL. VII, NO. 9
FEBRUARY 25, 1966

There are lots of interesting things going on around campus lately. For one thing, there's Jeff Spackman and Eric Turner playing "follow the sophomore." I wonder when Wayne Hollenback is going to pay back that quarter he owes somebody? Some one asked if Kathy Kelly has been caught yet for skipping the detention she got in biology for chewing gum. Then there are the two short, dark‑haired girls who have been following Gary Keehn around. Hey, Jack English's lovely curls are gone! His Tony must have grown out. Sue Boelt's been getting upset lately because everybody keeps telling her to turn around. What's going on be hind your back, Sue? Nobody knows why Nancy Motalo can't roll her r's in Spanish. Everyone else can.

I hear that Chris Peterson's favorite pastime is mopping up milkshakes from the cafeteria floor. And Karin Karner got so excited over Lee Rodin's touching speech to the sophomore assembly that she somehow lost her seat. But the floor is just as comfy, right Karin? Lee has a brilliant career ahead of him in public speaking. I hear Nancy McGrath has been having these mysterious trances where she wanders around the halls staring and nodding her head. But don't let her fool you. She's just sleep walking again. Hey, that's a pretty sharp nighty, Mike Mahoney.

What's all the screaming about, Linda Lehman? (I hear she gets very hysterical quite easily.) Looks like Barb Smith got her barber in a rage. He tried to scalp her! Howls Jim and those ice‑cream wrappers, Cindy Linke?

One more thing before I sign off ‑ it seems Miss Hyatt's first period gym class wishes to announce the formation of a new basketball team called the Warriorettes, after our famous Warriors. They hope to model their team after the men from West. The team's captain is Marilyn Hajost, and the members are Cherrie Schueler, Karen Johnson, Lorrie Nave, Candy Kelly, Phyllis Berquist, Terry Brunkhorst, Nancy Colvin and Jill Gerstung. Good luck, Warriorettes!
