The Maine West Key Club will sell Gam‑o‑Flares today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 10 am, until 3 p.m. The flares will be sold at the First National Bank and Johnson's Sporting Goods Store.
A Gam‑o‑Flare is a battery powered light which can be used to warn passing autos that you have stopped for emergency repairs or are stalled. The sale is to promote highway safety.
Since Key Club is a service organization, the funds received will be donated to worthwhile causes.
This year the Maine West Key Club is run by Mr. John W. Hugh, sponsor, and Dan Thal '67, president. The other officers are Dave Busher '68, vice‑president; Bert Walker '69, secretary; and Dale Thal '67, treasurer.

Among their future activities this organization is planning to have a car for Homecoming, act as guides for the adults attending evening school, and take over the management of the PATH (paperback bookstore), for which no opening date has been set.
Mark Weaver '67 will be the manager. Presently he is compiling a list of books which both students and teachers will approve. Mark also hopes to have some best sellers. This year there will also be magazines. These must be approved by the faculty.
According to Dan, Key Club is looking for new members. Anyone may attend the meeting Thursday, October 6.
