The Freshman Class has announced the names of the newly elected class officers and the Class Council for the 1966‑67 school year.

The officers this year are Tim Wayman, president; Ed Duchaj, vice‑president; Lee Evans, secretary; and Chris Clausen, treasurer.

On making the office of secretary, Lee commented, "I am very glad that I have been elected to the office of secretary of Class Council. I hope that this class will try to be the best class that Maine has ever had."

Recently elected to Class Council are Lorry Alfini, Cathy Bean, Lynn Brogerge, Lynn Callorman, Laura Dalbke, Scott Doherty, Sue Fess, Jim Freeze, Ken Gutowski, Karen Hauck, Rich Hendricks, and Greg Horn.

Also included are Chris Kristen, Lynn Lloyd, Suzanne Lorenze, Laurie McMan, Jeff Naruszewicz, Jan Olenicki, Tom Peterson, Jerri Ryan, John Schmidt, Chuck Sulak, Pete Van Kranenhurgh, Jeff Thomas, and Debbie Zulawski.

Mr. Richard Frey and Miss Rosalie Streng are co‑sponsors of the Freshman Class.

The Freshman officers and Class Council are now busy planning their class float for their first Homecoming at Maine West.
