The Intramural golf matches were just completed at the Lake Park course. The Freshman Class champion was Dale McKenna with Jeff Henry as runner‑up. Sophomore champion was Drake Mertes with Mike Garms as runner‑up. Junior Class champion was Joe Lucas with Steve Sogar as runner‑up, and the senior champion was Everett Gaare with Glenn Ehrhart as the runner‑up.

The Freshmen and Sophomores recently completed their intramural tennis matches. For Freshmen, first place was won by Dave Keehn, second place by Dave Williams, and third place by Tim Wayman. For the Sophomores first place was won by Allan Utes and second place by Kurt Krebs.

Three Intramural events will be coming soon. The Senior touch football tournament will start Tuesday, October 4. The annual Intramural cross country run will be held tentatively on October 13. Competition will be on a class basis. Individuals will receive patches, and the winning teams will get a trophy.

Mr. Miley Hotchkiss, director, reminds all boys that there will be a free swim every Wednesday until the varsity swim season starts.
