VOL. VIII, NO. 10
MARCH 10, 1967

In Council

Attention all students! Saturday, April 1, through Friday, April 7, is Election Week 1967. New rules have been made this year. Here is a run down of a few.

Campaign dates - Campaigning will not begin before April 1. Campaigning will last three days in the school building from 7 am. to 8 am, and will end Wednesday, April 5, at 8 a.m. There will be no campaigning on the following Thursday and Friday.

Campaign headquarters - The hours are from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday; they are optional on Sunday and from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday.

In the gymnasiums skits and combos will be allowed on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 8 am. The candidates and their managers will rotate each day in the gyms. Each candidate is required to make a speech lasting at least two minutes every morning. These speeches will answer any questions the student body has concerning the election.

Contrary to last year's election, skits will be allowed this year in the gyms and in the halls from 7 a.m. to 8 am. Skits may also be used in the election assemblies if they are completed within the specified time allotted to the candidate.
